Madison the Artist:

I approach material in an introspective, holistic way but with a theatrical, commanding and warm dramatic presence. I enjoy theatrical avant garde and experimental approaches to new material and projects because within this approach anything is possible and there is no guess what will be discovered while creating, which I find to be fascinating.  I strive to be strong and have so much rawness and softness within that strength, physically and emotionally. My mission as an artist is to make art in my own way while connecting with people, encouraging them to be introspective and look inward within themselves. Art is about real experiences evoking real emotions within us, which is my greatest passion in being an artist. I have a versatile ability amongst different operatic genres and I am larger/dramatic mezzo-soprano/soprano/zwischenfach singer. I pride myself in approaching all projects in an emotionally raw, honest, open and vulnerable way. I believe this is a strength within itself and allows us to all connect. I gained and continue to gain my artistic insight and inspiration through my holistic study, research and practice of metaphysical philosophy. Additionally I am an active practicer of the artistic recovery and discovery process established by Julia Cameron’s bestseller, The Artist’s Way, a seminal book on the subject of creativity in addition to actively engaging and experiencing the teachings and philosophies of Eckhart Tolle.
